Sheldrake the Druid

Meet Sheldrake the Druid by Twin Goddess Miniatures. Another awesome and super fun model to paint.

I've been painting now for about a year and a half. When I started, the majority of my learning came from watching YouTube tutorials. From these tutorials, I picked up the technique of always starting with my darkest shadow and layering up to midtones and highlights. I have been recently watching Anne's ( Paintingbig ) live stream on Reaper Miniatures Twitch as well as some of her tutorials. She paints starting with midtone, then adding shadows and highlights. I had tried this before and didn't like the technique. But I have also recently learned more about paint consistency and color mixing and it's been helping my painting soooo much!

This model was painted using Anne's technique of starting with the midtone. I hope you like it.
