Njal Stormcaller

This was a really fun challenge to work on and I have allot of thought as to how I would illustrate the effects of the Wind. I decided on Njal Stormcaller. I leaned away from the traditional glow effects to try and better illustrate the gritty Viking roots these warriors portray and draw the eye to the wind and autumnal impact of the piece. I tried bringing more depth in colour by using pigments on the rock to better replicate the real thing. I focused allot on the face to try and make sure this Viking wizard looked the part as he brings the storm to 41st millennium ⛈️🌪️🍁
