2nd Edition Dark Angels Asmodai

Hi all and happy Thursday as always! Id like to present another one of the character minis from my Dark Angels display... Say hello to Asmodai!

As I did with Ezekiel, I wanted Asmodais cloak to represent his rank in the chapter, so I went about painting said cloak in a black with blue grey highlights. I honestly repainted his cloak several times trying to find the color combination that worked in my head. Wound up using a desaturated dark blue from AK over a black basecoat and worked up into Army Painter Fanatic Runic Cobalt. Wasnt exactly how Id pictured it, but I was running out of time to complete the project so I just went with it. Again, another Oldhammer mini I never got to paint up in my youth, so he was fun to finally hammer out!

I am currently working on a custom sculpted 2nd edition Lion el Jonson. Finished up his body portion last night after roughly a weeks worth of working on him. Got started on his shield shortly after and decided to shave of the Dark Angels logo that was on it so I could hand paint the heraldry from the current Lions shield! Its gonna look super cool when its done. But, as always I hope you all have an awesome and productive weekend!
