My second ever set of minis, it was with these fellas that I first discovered that I greatly preferred painting each mini to completion over batch painting. I also learned to double check my paints and plan before starting, because I accidentally used a darker orange paint on two of these before realizing my mistake and switching to the color I originally intended for the other two. I've made that mistake very few times since; As I like to say, "live and learn!"

I have never done patch painting. I really don't think it is something I would enjoy. My son and husband do army gaming and army painting and it just does not seem like my cup of tea. I like variety!
