Black Talon Combat Group (The Bloodsuckers)

I painted these black talon miniatures for the Dreampod 9 Golden gear competition this year and earned an honorable mention.

I learned a lot and tried some new things- the bases are just strips of plasticard, I used 30mm round bases instead of the dreampod9 hex bases for this project since the metal models were pretty large and heavy.

The miniatures are multipart metal models from Dreampod 9's Heavy Gear Blitz line. Theres a lot of putty filling in the joints but they posed up nicely.
