Aeldari Corsair Wave Serpent

A very old Wave Serpent, painted in custom Corsair colors, hastily salvaged and repaired (in and out of universe). Finished just in time for the 11E datasheet update that prevents Wave Serpents from transporting Corsair units.

Sigh.

This kit actually has a bit of a history. A customer at my store bought it about twelve years back. It was sold to a friend, who commissioned me to build it because he was old and had fat fingers. He later sold it to another friend of mine after realizing he didn't enjoy the game much. That friend kept it for a few years, then sold it to a different friend of mine who also kept it for a few years before trading it in to the store for credit to buy into Tau. It was only last year that I realized that I technically owned this again, at which point it had been sitting in a storage closet for about three years.

It still had its old-school Biel-Tan paint job when I got it. It wasn't great, but it felt odd to paint over it. I used the white and green parts as a guide for the current color scheme in an attempt to preserve a bit of that.
