Echoes of Death, Knight of the Dragon

I was not intending on painting this piece for competition but I enjoyed working on it so much I just kept doing more and more. This is my first foray into Steel/Iron NMM. Previously I had only painted gold. So that was one new technique. I knew I wanted to do a freehand on the cloak but I saw someone else’s done in an embroidery style and they were kind enough to give me tips for doing that. Lastly I was really happy with the base. It comes with the dust clouds but I cut the stones into it fo a more natural dusty look.
