Merfolk Royal Guards (AKA Mermaids

Another Mermaid for Mer-May, this one was a double feature. These Merfolk (lets face it they're Mermaids) are from Reaper Miniatures and I bought them because I thought I'd do a Diorama with them perhaps someday, but my time was limited so I decided on that idea.

None the less I wanted to paint them up and let others see that even though these models may never see use in a game (unless its a high seas adventure one shot perhaps). They are worth the time and effort just as any other models.

I used Color Shifter paints from Vallejo for their armor and the tails and the skin was done in a Green tone because I believe that living under water you are not going to have a wonderful looking Olive tan skin. Enjoy these models, have a great Memorial Day weekend and make sure you thank a soldier be it a veteran or someone still serving regardless of political beliefs and remember, it gets better.
