Father Luke
by
mahuti
In a world slipping into madness, Father Luke is the kind of man who keeps going because someone has to—and that quiet resolve makes him far more dangerous to the darkness than he looks.
For this piece I really focused on the face—trying to push emotion and get the skin looking as natural as I could. The suit was a fun challenge too: I wanted it gray but not dead, so I built it entirely from chromatic grays, loading the shadows with purples and greens and warming the highlights with yellows. It’s subtle, but it gives the suit real depth and a soft sheen without going full shiny. The photos don’t quite capture the full range, but painting it was a blast.

Love the key photo with the character card in the background. Nice job converting the 2D to 3D
