I wanted to really sell the unease associated with the artwork for the Black Grail forces. They're just...icky. The whole model has a layer of Goon's grime for skin depth and some watered down acrylic across it before a final unifying wash of Goon's Grime. The wings are dry brushed Irridescent Pearl by Golden before a wash of Grimdark Shadow. For the gore effects, I mixed Vallejo Still Water with some True Blood by Army Painter and finally some Goon's Grime. The mix will cause the acrylic to clump and dry almost satin and helps to turn up the ick factor.
