Nimrod from Marvel Crisis Protocol

I've wanted to paint this model since I saw it in the case at Adepticon 2026. It has such a presence on the shelf I'm sure it feels like a beast on the game table.
I pushed my blends further on this one and tried to approach the OSL in a more academic or precise manner. I'm not sure if I accomplished that, but I do feel like I grew as a painter in the last 2 weeks. I may come back to this piece later this year, and do another 10-20 hours of work, but I'm quite happy with it as it is.

Clean work! The OSL reads amazingly well with great saturation. Your panel lines are very precise. And your volumes are well defined with believable contrast. I think the back magenta "wings" (image 5) could have used the same edge highlighting you used throughout the piece. However, the focal point for me is the front and it kills. Love it! Big MCP fan!
