2nd Edition Grim Bright Sarge Ultramarine

Hey all! Back again with the final mini for my Ultramarines squad. Its the good ol Sarge! Was a strange feeling to finally paint another one of these after over three decades! There was a lot of nostalgia for me working on this ol Blueberry bad lad as the original Ultramarines Tactical Squad was the first actual 40k box set I ever purchase when I was a wee youngin in the early/mid 90s. Mind you back then, I had no idea what I was doing lol! I actually still have the original model I bought when I was a kid, but I cut off his power fist arm and wrecked the mini (still have both pieces, though would require A LOT of green stuff work to make right again). I am happy to say that this time around, hacking the mini up was not on my list of things to do... and I am happy to have him looking all awesome and 90s Grim Bright!

I am currently waiting on a load of 2nd edition generic metal terminators to arrive, along with the late 2nd ed/early 3rd ed Terminator Captain to show up in the mail so I can complete the full display project Im working on. The display itself will be my "Squad" entry for Las Vegas Open this coming October! Currently finishing off an old 2nd ed Marneus Calgar. Should have him wrapped up tonight as I only have his arm left to paint up.
