I decided after years of hoarding plastic that it was finally time to start an army - with the release of the Death Company box in 2024, I landed on Blood Angels.
This was the first mini I painted as I was developing my recipe for both black and red armor. There is a mixture of airbrush work and brush work throughout, and I used an oil wash for the first time to get a little more of a grimy, grimdark look.
To this day, I think this is still one of the best faces I've ever painted.
