Rogue Trader Grim Bright Ultramarine Terminator

So, way back in the day, which was a Wednesday btw lol... You know, in the good ol early/mid 90s, when the official Eavy Metal Warhammer 40k Painting Guide was released, there was this snazzy ol RT era Ultramarine Terminator in the "How To Paint Ultramarines" section that I always adored. The painting guide was pretty much the only place the Terminator was shown as it was painted up long before the updated generic 2nd edition Terminator resculpts were finished.

I always loved and adored this particular model! Seeing as Im well into (and actually almost finished with) my Ultramarines phase, I decided to recreate this snazzy old fellow. I went and dug out a bare RT Termie that matched what was in the painting guide and painted him up. I was going to have him and another RT era Termie on my Ultramarines display base as Marneus Calgars body guards, but I decided to order some generic 2nd ed Termies instead and use those as Id really been itching to paint some of them up given how much Jes Goodwin cleaned up the over all models with the resculpts (also given Ive painted up 14 RT era termies since getting back into painting and Im really just over them lol). I may paint up a 2nd RT Termie in Ultramarines just so he has a buddy to hang out with in my display case as Im not using him for the display, but Ill figure that out later.

Anywho, yeah! Ill have a few more Blueberries coming as the weeks wear on as Im nearly done with the generic 2nd ed Termie body guards and will be working up the display base for all them.
