2nd Edition Grim Bright Ultramarine Terminator

Hi all! Finally wrapped up my 2nd ed Terminators for my Ultramarines display base thats forthcoming. These guys will be on the display as Calgars bodyguards! First up is the Thunderhammer Termie. He was a bit of a challenge as Eavy Metal never painted up a 2nd ed Ultramarine Termie with Thunderhammer in the 90s, so I had to tinker around with colors a bit on both the hammer and shield to get them balanced out properly, and to get them looking like Ultramarine gear from the time... But I think I managed to get it all sorted.

Will post this Termies counterpart next week, and my Marneus Calgar the week after. I SHOULD have the full display done and photographed by the time Calgar is posted, so itll be the final post in my Ultramarines phase! Next up is a commission job I took for a local DnD group here in town. HUGE miniature, looks a lot like The Great Unclean One. It will be an interesting job to do... then onto my Dark Angels phase (which will include painting tutorial) as well as painting my 2 single mini entries for Las Vegas Open this coming Oct!
