Nemesis: Nightmares Queen

Pomalowałam robaka - that means "I have painted a worm" in polish.

This project grew in my head a few days ago. I used only 6 colours of paints.

I started yesterday (05. March, 2026), basing with Vallejo Deep Purple 70.749. Vallejo Deep Purple 70.749 and Old Rose 70.944 were mixed in many different amounts to create deep shades and (hopefully) smooth transitions of purple and pink skin of the Worm Queen. I really enjoy received texture. Final touches of the skin texture and highlights were made using Army Painter Warpaint Opal Skin WP3149. The Queen looks like her skin has been ripped off.

Vallejo Special FX (Fresh Blood 72.601, Thick Blood 72.602 and Moss and Lichen 72.611) were used to make the Worm Queen appear dangerous and deadly. Her antennae are covered in fresh blood and thick phlegm. She doesn't look like a nightmare - she IS the nightmare. She is the queen of a spaceship she haunts. What a miserable fate she is going to seal to Nemesis spaceship workers.

This miniature is from Awaken Realms' game "Nemesis: Nightmares".

Unfortunatelly I haven't got better, unpainted photo of the Queen.
