Hunter of the Left Hand Path

I attended Martin Peterson's 8-week painting class and this is what I ended up with. It was a fun experience with a lot of great feedback along the process. I might refine it some more much later, but for now it will be proudly displayed in my cabinet.

My big inspiration of the piece was from the official artwork of Hunter of the Left Hand Path. I wanted to keep the colors similar of that piece, but still retain some of my own style. For the base, I wanted something desaturated and moody to make the red stand out more, so I went with a cemetery. I'm also a fan of when the terrain breaks the 4th wall in a way that can frame the piece like some of Golden Demon entries I've seen. My idea here is using the cracks to show where the golden angle is.

Reminds me of Khezu armor from Monster Hunter.

Really crisp job on the figure itself. I feel like those abs are distinct from a mile away haha.

Awesome job with the plinth! Is that your first time making a plinth like that?
