TAU | Farsight Cadre | XV8 Crisis Battlesuits

Doing something with orange/black was on my bucketlist for quite a while - perfect starting point to a new hobby year! It's the first group from the Farsight Cadre box and is meant as a baseline for the color scheme and workflow - i will iterate on it while completing the box, but am quite happy with the result.

Workflow:
Zenithal Preshading (Vallejo Black Primer, Tamiya XF-2)

Orange:
Citadel Contrast (Imperial Fist, Magmadroth Flame, Gryphhound Orange) via Airbrush
Edgehighlighting (Scale 75 Mars Orange 1:2 Sol Yellow)
Oilwash "burnt umber" Pinlining

Black:
Basecoat Vallejo Model Color Black
Scale 75 Anthracite Grey Edgehighlight

Copper:
Vallejo True Metallic Ancient Copper Base, Shade and Light mostly layering with some glazing

Black Steel:
Vallejo True Metallic Obsidian Black Base
Contrast Black Templar 1:1 Contrast Medium
Drybrushing Vallejo True Metallic Obsidian Black Base
Drybrushing Vallejo True Metallic Obsidian Black Light (quite soft)

Lenses:
Scale 75 Caribbean Blue
Vallejo Model Color White

What would i change?
My zenithal is still too dark when working with yellows/oranges. I'll brighten it up next time or use the pink preshading technique.
The orange could use more contrast in itself.

What i like?
Lenses came out really nice, love the accent they give.
