Vargheists Unit

I posted a quick picture of the blue Vargheist when I first got on Baselair, but I wanted to update it with the rest of the collection with a little better of photos.

These were painted a while ago, but I remember trying to some experiments with drybrushing, washes, and contrast paints. This was a helpful project to learn a bit more control with those techniques and I like how the wings mostly turned out. This was all the first time I used an all-over gloss varnish. I'd probably use a mix of varnishes if I tried this now.

How'd I do on these bases? Spooky bat monster environment is what I was going for.
