Chaplain Boh Fahdeez

I ordered this legally distinct chaplain from McGavin Miniatures on Etsy. He arrived, was highly detailed, and was a head and shoulders above my old scale terminators. So I decided to make him a display piece instead! He's closer to the current scale Terminator models so it's not ridiculously scaled up, but still... didn't want Chaplain McLargehuge running around with my guys. Model is base coated in Grim Black followed by Night Sky then a dry brush of Matte White. After that point I went over the armor bits and the helmet with a dry brush of Iridescent Pearl by Golden. The helmet and bone bits are then hit with Soft Tone with some Mid Brown for texture. The Crozius was done in Hoplite Gold and Polished Silver, leaving some exposed under coat. The handle is done in Death Metal for the metal bits and Warrior Skin for the leather. I painted the beads in Gemstone Red and Death Metal, and the cross charm in Hoplite Gold. The lenses are Bloodmoon Red, a dot of Matte White, and a second coat of Bloodmoon Red. The helmet was drybrushed in Pale Sand, then hit with Grimdark Shadow after the fact. The shoulder pad is Gemstone Green and a freehand Dark Angels sword before Grimdark Shadow. The Crux Terminatus is done in Hoplite Gold and Grimdark Shadow for the bones. The Armor is painted in a half half mix of Grim Black and water. The radiator is white then Demonic Yellow, then Slaughter Red on top. The whole model was hit with Dark Tone and left to dry. The base is base coated similarly to the model with some details being picked out in Highlord Blue. The concrete is Golden Shading Gray over the base coat, a white dry brush, then Grimdark Shadow. Autumn Foliage flock was glued to the model with Elmer's and the model was glued to the base. And there ya go! Chaplain Fahdeez now stands guard on my desk with Frank Horrigan, the Big E in barbarian times, an Enclave Trooper, and a random knight.
