Geppetto - Spira48 project

This was done as part of the Spira48 challenge people were doing the other weekend. Mine was a done a few days after but still giving myself only 48 hours to work on this bust form start to finish. I got about 8 hours total at the painting desk over that 48 hour window. Even time not painting,vmy mind was still working on this piece and what I wanted to do. Very happy with how it turned out in such a short time. Might go back later to touch up a few minor things and enter this as competition piece at a future con.

This was mostly painted using heavy body/artist acrylics to give it a very painterly style. Which I feel lends itself very well to this style of bust.
