FigurenWelt

I'm a bit tired of the tendency toward hyper-perfectionism and historical fetishism in figure painting. Many figures, despite all admiration for their technical perfection and the painters' skills, now seem pretty lifeless to me. Just like the painters felt at the end of the 19th century… The very handcrafted and expressive figures of Tibor Teleszynski practically invite you to experiment with them. I'm trying it with Expressionism, which has always appealed to me—because it introduces elements of abstraction while still being able to remain figurative (which is unavoidable in figure painting). So, with the help of AI, which was really good here, I gave it a try.
