Machina Sanctifica

Here is my painted Anchorite Shrine - the Machina Sanctifica. My inspiration for this design came from three different sources. Since Metropolis was released shortly after WWI I felt that the art deco design style of the robot suited the setting time period. I also wanted a menacing bronze statue like Talos from Jason and the Argonauts melded with a real solid state tech feel like the back of a 100 watt amplifier.
