This guy has been to Golden Demon, MPO, and Olden Demon. And won nothing!
And that's ok. Back in 1995, my first ever 40k mini was Asmodai. I painted the original with Testors, it eventually got lost, and then a few years back I picked up a used one on eBay with the intent of bringing it to Adepticon.
I had to rebuild the model and find a new backpack, and I scratch built the base. I added to the model many times over a year and some change, until I was finally done with him. While he didn't win me anything, I'm pretty proud of the experience.
