Selachian Crewman

I had been putting off this mini for a while because I was intimidated by the prospect of a shark's skin fading from dark grey-blue to almost white from its back to front and, honestly, I haven't done much fading or blending! I like too think about minis as a 3D coloring book, though of course it's more advanced than that. Anyway, recently Serenity_minis encouraged me with the words, "Be brave and just try!"
So I did that! It was surprisingly fun approaching a new challenge, and I really enjoyed the organic, messy look I got.
I ended up using a "pastel seafoam" paint all over the skin, then painted increasingly small areas (starting from the back) with progressively darker blue speedpaints.

Thanks for the encouraging words Serenity, I love how this guy turned out!
