John Morgan

This is John Morgan an investigator from Cthulhu: Death May Die by CMON. He's a bit of a fan favorite, but for a guy with tank powers, he's not that great at tanking. He has the ability to redirect attacks aimed at other investigators, but I feel like the damage is usually a bit too much for him.

This is one of my older paint jobs, and one of the first for CDMD. For this paint job, I wanted to use a limited palette and I wanted to focus on speed rather than perfection. Compared to a lot of the things I paint this one is pretty rough, but maybe for that same reason it's one of my favorites. I managed to help capture his intense expression without losing the quality of life that sometimes happens when I overwork a face. Also the looseness of the brush strokes makes it feel like he's tensed and ready for action. At least that's MY opinion on it.
