This creepy model is from DM Stash and was painted for their September painting contest. You have to pick one of three factions (Moon, Swamp, or Spider) and paint your mini to match. I decided on Spider. Mostly to push myself a bit. The Spider faction is supposed to represent the dark and sinister. That isn't something I tend to paint. I don't paint many monsters and this model is not usually one I would grab.
His face is a skeleton, but his arms and legs appeared to have some tissue, while his abdomen area looked to me to be more muscle and fresh tissue. So I attempted to make the face, arms and legs look more like dead, lifeless flesh. And for the abdomen I was going for more of a "fresh meat" look.
