I’m gonna go ahead and put a pin in the 40K slow-grow league, and call my results an overall success. While I did not win the whole thing, I did achieve each of my personal goals:
✅ - More W’s than L’s
✅ - Top Aeldari Player *
✅ - Played every game 100% painted
✅ - Won Best Painted **
* caveat: By a mere 8 points, but as they say in the classic Fast & Furious films: “by an inch or a mile” 😅
** caveat: There were only 3 fully painted armies outta some 40 people. 😔
While I didn’t hit the full 4K points worth of painted minis, I’m fine at just over 3,500 pts painted in just a couple of months.
Time for a bit of a Warhammer break…
