Delilah, Faun of the Forest

This is Delilah, Faun of the Forest, she is a 3D printed model designed by ATLASS3DSSS. I was commissioned to paint her by a Sergeant when I was stationed in Fort Stewart in 2023. The title of her name pretty much gave me the idea to make it look as though she was in a small clearing in the forest she was perhaps communing with the forest with a brook in front of her.

I used a cold purple color on her outfit, while her skin was done in a dark skin tone, (I had to ask the sergeant to let me color match her skin when I did this). Her staff is done using a lite brown almost Oak in color while the wrist rings and the moon shape in the middle of the staff I tried to match to a purple heart wood color (If you have never seen purple heart wood its very beautiful but over time becomes chocolate in color but still beautiful)

Her base is a Basswood you can get at Hobby Lobby and I used flocking and various Gamers Grass flower tufts. I enjoy trying to use the wood bases on models like these it gives them more character and really tells a story. Hope you all enjoy and remember, it gets better.
