Biography

I enjoy painting smaller (~32mm) figures mostly for display, with a few for board games; lately fan-art. I tend to like a more painterly style with bright colors and enjoy learning theory, practicing, and trying new techniques. I was fortunate to study art through high school and particularly enjoyed printmaking. I painted my first board game piece in 2016 and started painting regularly in 2026. So far, I've painted around 100 figures. I have low or no mental visualization (see aphantasia) and use references, test models, and computer software to try out colors and lighting. Or just try and repaint. :) I can only visualize space and position without any color, detail, sound, smell, taste, touch, etc.
