Every model stands on something, but the best ones stand somewhere. Cracked desert earth, a mossy forest floor, shattered urban rubble, frostbitten tundra... the ground beneath a model sets the story, the mood, and the world it lives in. For this month's Uncommon Ground challenge, paint a model with a base that stands out. Choose any theme: industrial, water, swamp, volcanic, something out of this world, or maybe under it. The model still matters, but in this challenge the base takes center stage.

One entry per person
Must fit the theme
Must be your own work and painted during this challenge window
Fully finished models only, no WIPs
Any genre or scale
Conversions, kitbashes, and 3D printed models are allowed
At least one clear, well-lit photo on a neutral background
